No teeth!

Maddy lost her bottom tooth yesterday eating. The tooth fairy came last night =) Today at the end of the church picnic, she and her friend were jumping in the inflatable jumpy's and Maddy bonked 'lightly' into her knee and her top tooth came out! The tooth was already loose so it wasn't TOO big of a deal. Less for Maddy to have to loosen!! So, the fairy will be back again tonight! Maybe tonight when she comes, Hayley will be asleep =) The kids have been 'sleeping over' in each others' rooms which some kids are still up when the fairy comes to visit! How weird is that....................! Hayley knows the 'routine' now. We've had the santa, fairy talk. Maddy was crying when she lost her tooth because she missed it and didn't know what to think of her new hole! She's fine now.

summer stuff.................

Brent's team won their age bracket tourney a week ago! They played Friday night and won, Saturday and won and won Monday too! The boys were so excited, jumping up and down and high fiving! It was so cool! The team celebrated at Whippy Dip-it's Loveland's version of DQ!They have their team party this week so I'm not sure if they get trophies for their win. Go Rangers!!!!!!! LYB is having a recognition night on Thursday and the teams will have recognition that night.

Hayley had her team party on Wednesday. The moms' played the Divas-quite interesting and HOT! It was fun =) We had pizza, snacks and dessert.

We've been at the pool 3 x's this week and had some play dates! One day we were there 3 1/2 hrs! These kids are fish! They usually end up seeing friends there and they play. I took pic's of Brent's cannon ball and Maddy. Hayley's the under water gal.............

Today the girls and I went to volunteer and Kids Against Hunger. We filled 14,688 bags of food! Plus what the am shift packed too so it was double for a grand total that will be shipped by boat care of the Navy to Swaziland. The boys were at church setting up for our church picnic tomorrow. This is the 2nd year Scott's been in charge =) It'll be fun! He and his Friday am guys are serving breakfast at a 'partner' church tomorrow before the picnic-busy day!

I didn't get too many pic's of Brent's day-I was the popsicle lady so I didn't get to see Brent too much. This was their car wash! And here's hula girl.

Well, before you know it we'll be in Mn. The kids are excited to see cousins and friends (me too). Our week is already planned with fun things to do and people to see! We're bringing Jake so that should be interesting! Especially and gma & gpa's with their cats =)

Summer Vacation is here!!!!!!

FINALLY! The kids are finished!! They're so excited and ready to have some time off =) Which Hayley is still sleeping-she was up until midnight reading! She needs to catch up on her sleep. Well, it was a busy, fun week with Field Day's for Brent & Maddy. I volunteered at each. It rained Wed for Brent's so they had it inside. Brent's teacher ordered pizza for the last day. I think Brent will miss LECC. He seems kinda bummed. We went to the library yesterday and to lunch at Scott's work. They have a new cafeteria.

I went to get Hayley's sandals from the pool and these 2 ducks were having a nap =) Maddy doing the bucket race, her and her BFF from class-Mary and a cool picture of Maddy throwing a 'pool ball' full of water. I caught the stream of water as she threw it. And her and Autumn doing the 2 person shirt race..............

It was a beautiful day to be out! Everybody had fun!

Monday, Maddy had Fun Day with her class at school. She's learning how to hula hoop and loves it! We bought hula hoops and Brent is the master! Maddy gets her little rump moving-it's pretty funny.

Tuesday I went and got my finger printing done and turned in my paperwork to work as a sub in the cafeteria at school this fall. I will float to whatever school they need me. The hours are 10-1 and pretty flexible if I can't be there if the kids' are sick, etc. I'm hired, just have to do paperwork. I was hired last fall but with Maddy only in school 1/2 day, it didn't work. So we planned to have me start this fall.

Thursday Hayley had a picnic with her class outside. Her teacher grilled hot dogs/hamburgers. The kids played games, corn hole and had fun. Gma & Gpa came too =)

Friday Brent had a picnic at school too and went to Hayley's play at school. It's been a busy, end of the year week! The kids' would have been finished with school yesterday had they not had the snow/storm days. Hayley's done Tues and Brent & Maddy Wed. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!

Gma & Gpa left yesterday. We're sad and the house is empty. We have to plan their next trip!Gma and I have gotten close(r) and it's fun to be with her and talk 'girl stuff!' Exchange books, shop. I don't have that and it's great to have that with her. I miss that in my life! She and I are content to sit and read in our 'sitting room' and listen to the birds out the window! She really liked the new chairs we bought and had to drag her out of it! Thurs nite she & I stayed up until 2 am watching chick flicks! How fun is that!! Of course, it's fun to have gpa here too but we don't talk gal stuff. We talk about lots of stuff but it's fun too to have the female/mom bond too. We give him grief because he eats every 2 hrs and naps =) I miss them both and can't wait for next time!

I'm off for now to sit outside on the stoop and have a beer! I'm a little baked after Hayley & Brent's games today, I need to cool off!

A little trip

We took a little road trip to Daniel Boone National Forest in Ky-1 1/2 hr drive from here. There's hiking, camping, swimming-the usual at a forest. We found a short(er) path to walk along. It was pretty neat to be in the wilderness. We walked along a little river/stream that people can canoe on. Maddy found a lovely snake on the path. She thought it was a stick! We stopped in at the visitor's center and tried to find the name of the snake we saw. Low and behold there are 4 poisonous snakes in Ky and 2 are rattlers. It would be fun to camp there, but maybe not! We walked across a cool bridge and found lots of big trees down. There are cool rock formations here which we found.

More bday.................

Ok, I'm back. The sirens were going off as I'm writing this. We have Tstorm warnings and a tornado warning for part of our county.

Maddy also got Pet Shops (which she is very excited) and a Pet Shop carrier, 3D sidewalk chalk. She was a tired bday girl by the end of the night! A fun bday!!

In and around us tonight, we are in the midst of 5 storms going through, all of which are producing tornados. There are 2 storms that have blown thru here that are now tornadic. There was a picture of a funnel cloud here in Loveland. The storm over us is now stalled and swirling back to include a couple more towns by us. We're all in the basement hanging out, planning our day tomorrow!! We've had softball size hail-as our cars are out =( Our new roof is getting a work out!
